Jennifer R. Okubo Polido

Jennifer R. Okubo Polido’s law practice includes estate planning, and probate and trust administration.  Prior to forming her own law practice, Jennifer worked at First Hawaiian Bank’s Personal Trust Division where she gained valuable experience in trust administration. Thereafter, Jennifer joined the Law Office of Stephen H. Reese as an associate attorney where her practice areas included estate planning, and probate and trust administration.  Before entering the trust and estates area of law, Jennifer served as a law clerk for the Honorable Colette Y. Garibaldi (criminal felonies) and as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.

Jennifer R. Okubo Polido was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and is a graduate of Pearl City High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business, and received her law degree from the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon.  Jennifer currently serves as Chair of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Probate and Estate Planning Section, President of the Hawaii Estate Planning Council, and is also a past Chair and current member of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section.

Jennifer is passionate about helping others through her profession and volunteers throughout the community. Jennifer volunteers with Project Dana and engages in pro bono work with the Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii as a volunteer attorney. She is also Chair of the Membership Development Committee of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce helping to support and grow the membership of the Chamber, a member of the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member of the Nisei Veterans Legacy.
