Biography

Mohit Gourisaria is an Assistant United States Attorney. He investigates and prosecutes a broad range of federal offenses, including wire fraud, money laundering, public corruption, child exploitation, and firearm-related crimes. Gourisaria clerked for Judge Gerard E. Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He also teaches at Berkeley Law School, and previously served as a Lecturer at Columbia Law School, teaching legal writing and oral advocacy to first-year law students. He began his legal career at Wachtell Lipton in New York City. Prior to joining the government, his litigation practice included intellectual property, antitrust, and white-collar matters. Gourisaria studied Theatre Arts in college and performed professionally in Boston before attending law school at Columbia and the London School of Economics.
