Richard Hildreth

Richard Hildreth is Kliks Professor of Law at the University of Oregon School of Law and Director of the school's Ocean and Coastal Law Center. He is coauthor of the leading law school texts Coastal & Ocean Law (3rd ed. West 2007) and Climate Change Law: Mitigation & Adaptation (West 2010) as well as Coastal & Ocean Management Law in a Nutshell (3rd ed. West 2007). His current research focuses on the ocean impacts of rising global carbon dioxide emissions, e.g., ocean acidification and ocean warming leading to enhanced sea level rise.
