Biography

Allan R. Landon, Al served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Hawaii Corporation from September 1, 2004 to July 30, 2010. Mr. Landon served as Treasurer and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Hawaii, a subsidiary of Bank of Hawaii Corp. and served as its President since 2003 and Chief Financial Officer since February 2001. Mr. Landon served as President of Bank of Hawaii Corp. from December 15, 2003 to April 2008, Chief Financial Officer from January 2001 to April 2004, Chief Operating Officer from May 2004 to August 2004 and also its Treasurer. He served as Executive Vice President and Director of Risk Management of Bank of Hawaii Corp. from February 2001 to 2003. He was responsible for key support groups including risk management, human resources, and technology & operations and oversees the areas of finance, legal and corporate sourcing. Mr. Landon served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of First American Corp. and its subsidiary, First American National Bank from September 1998 to 2000. He served as a Partner of Ernst & Young LLP from 1984 to 1998. From 1970 to September 1998, he served as associated at Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to that he worked at Ernst & Young, LLP for 28 years, and was the lead audit partner for several major national and international financial institutions. He served as Chairman of the Board of Regents at University of Hawaii System, The. He served as Vice Chairman of Bank of Hawaii Corp. from January 2001 to December 2003. Mr. Landon served as Vice Chairman of Bank of Hawaii since February 2001 to December 2003. He served as a Director of Bank of Hawaii since April 2002 and Bank of Hawaii Corp., from 2004 to July 30, 2010. He served as a Director of Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. He serves as Director and Treasurer of the University of Hawaii Foundation; a member of the Hawaii Council of the Humanities; a Director of Hawaii Medical Services Association. Mr. Landon is a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Iowa State University and is a Certified Public Accountant of AICPA.
