Biography

Eric S. T. Young is a solo practitioner in estate planning and trust and probate law.  He is a graduate of Harvard University and the William S. Richardson School of Law (Class of '92). Mr. Young has been selected "Lawyer of the Year” five times (in Trusts and Estates in 2020 and 2023, and in Litigation - Trusts and Estates in 2014, 2018 and 2023), by Best Lawyers in America (as reported in the Honolulu Magazine).

Mr. Young is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a member of the Judiciary's Uniform Probate Code and Probate Court  Practices Committee ("UPCC").  The UPCC was instrumental in shepherding the adoption of the Uniform Trust Code (HRS Ch. 554D) in 2021.
