Christina Aiu '13

Christina (“Tina”) Aiu, Esq. is the O‘ahu Island Director at Hawaiian Islands Land Trust - a non-profit organization that works to conserve land in Hawai‘i for current and future generations.  Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Tina holds a B.S. in Biology from Loyola Marymount University, a J.D. and Environmental Law Certificate from the University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law, and a Certificate in Ocean Policy from the University of Hawai‘i School of Social Sciences. 

Tina has worked on food security, land conservation, natural resources management, and endangered species issues for Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, The Trust for Public Land Hawaiian Islands Program, Kamehameha Schools Land Assets Division, and Conservation Council for Hawai‘i.  She is an alumnus of both the 2042 Young Leaders Reimagining Conservation Fellowship Program, hosted by the Center for Whole Communities and the Center for Diversity and the Environment, and KUPU’s Hawai‘i Youth Conservation Corps.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for KAHEA – The Hawaiian Environmental Alliance.
