LLM Tuition Reduced!

The LLM tuition has been lowered by 35% in 2018 to make it more affordable for students!

LLM Program

Our Master of Laws (LLM) Program provides foreign and American law graduates with the opportunity to build upon their legal education and expertise. We accept students who have earned a law degree from outside the U.S., such as a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B); and we also accept candidates who have earned the Juris Doctor (JD) degree in the U.S. Both types of students are fully integrated within the Richardson Law School Community and enjoy the flexibility to design their own curriculum.

LLM for Foreign Law Graduates

LLM for American Lawyers

Eligibility and Application:
A law degree or its equivalent, or admission to practice in a foreign jurisdiction, 580 TOEFL score. Application is available through our website.

Advanced JD Program

For other foreign law graduates (LLB or GDL/CPE), the Advanced JD offers many advantages.  Admission to the AJD program means that you may earn the JD, the main law degree in the U.S., in as little as two years.  It provides deeper training in U.S. law and better prepares you for practice issues than one-year programs.  AJD graduates also meet the educational requirements to take the bar examination in all U.S. jurisdictions.

Eligibility and Application: A law degree from an accredited or recognized foreign institution with credits approved for transfer; a minimum 600 TOEFL score or 7 IELTS unless exempted; registration through the CAS system of LSAC. Application must be submitted through LSAC.

Apply for Both AJD and LLM:

Applicants to the AJD Program may also be considered for admission to our LLM Program without submitting a separate application.
