The Law School is assisting the Department of Human Services in the research and development of an online "prescreening" eligibility tool for persons who may be in need of both public assistance (including Medicaid) and public benefits assistance. The project entails researching online prescreening tools in other states and documenting both the federal and State of Hawaiʻi eligibility rules for each public assistance and medical assistance program offered by the DHS.
