Please refer to the Student Handbook for official student absence policy, section 1.18 on pp. 26-27.
This absence form officially notifies the Dean for Student Services of your absence, who will then notify your professors. If you believe this should be EXCUSED absence please explain how your absence falls within the list of excused absences in our policy in the Student Handbook, pp. 26-27 (Rev. 2019). The explanation will NOT be released to your professors other than a one-word categorization, i.e, Health, Military Orders, Moot Court, or ‘Personal’, but the Associate Dean needs your explanation to make the determination.
