Real estate transactions are an important and growing conservation strategy; examines land transactions within the environment of conservation. (Once a year)

Notes

The course examines land conservation transactions within the context of environmental conservation in the State of Hawai`i and national Standards and Practices. The course will introduce students to the basic real estate, finance, and strategic principles needed to understand the world of buying, selling, and accepting donations of real estate or interests of real estate in Hawai`i for conservation purposes. It is practical in emphasis and is led by practitioners in the field.
