"Objection, your Honor!" This course examines the rules of evidence that govern trials in both federal and Hawai'i courts and will focus on such topics as hearsay, witness examination, impeachment, physical and demonstrative evidence, expert testimony, writings, relevance, judicial notice, and presumptions.

CommentsScheduled Exam. Start exam in Examplify on Wednesday, December 16 between 12:00-2:00PM HST. Exam must be submitted within the length of time noted on the Fall 2020 Final Exam Schedule and Details. This is a limited open book exam. Students may only use the Text, Federal Rules of Evidence, Hawaii Rules of Evidence, Class Materials (PowerPoint Slides, Class problems, Review Materials), and Student-Prepared Materials. Students will have access to print the exam attachment that includes the essay question for use during the exam.
