Wrongful Convictions: Learn and how and why factually innocent people are wrongfully convicted. This course is designed to provide students with an overview of the issues and case law related to wrongful convictions. The goal of the course is that students gain an understanding of this dynamic and ever-growing area of the law and how many people, despite being innocent, can be imprisoned based on wrongful convictions. The course will also provide students with what legal procedures and evidence can be used to help free those who are imprisoned or on death row and are factually innocent of the crimes that they have been convicted Mandatory excursion to a prison facility.
